NASA found a planet identical to Earth

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced on Thursday that  Kepler spacecraft have detected a planet that seems to be similar to the Earth.

Not clear whether the planet called "Kepler-452b 'that are physically rugged and has its airspace and water, but the discovery is most interesting to date.

NASA researcher, Jon Jenkins said the planet is in the constellation Cygnus, and as far as 1,400 light years from Earth.

"Its size is 60 percent larger than Earth and is located in the zone that can sustain life," says Jon.

According to scientists, the surface of Kepler-452b could be expected to retain water as well as having an active volcano. Gravity rate was twice that of Earth.

Kepler-452b  farther away from the light source when compared with the Earth to the sun.

However, the star cluster that is far brighter than the sun, Kepler-452b thus gained a source of energy that is very similar to Earth.

"It takes 385 days to orbit its star is almost equal to 365 Earth days," added Jon.

Following this he spent a long time orbiting the zones of around 6 billion years, the planet Kepler-452b have much time to produce life.

"The amount of time and the same conditions are needed to ensure continued life on the surface of the Earth," he explained in an official statement.

On 17 April 2014, NASA detects a planet called Kepler-186f said to be most like Earth. The planet is 500 light years and a 10 percent greater, but less light as the Earth.

Explore Kepler was launched in 2009. The mission cost $ 600 million (RM2.29 billion) was armed with the goal of reviewing the part of the Milky Way for habitable planets.
